A combination of a couple sites(see the link map), it is tightly packed maze in between steel, stone, and glass of very old archways, and railroad supports. Nestled near the London Bridge, it is an area known for it's food, drink, and culture. Some of the greatest foods, chefs, and producers are here working to give what the public wants: gastro nirvana!
Adding to to the excitement, were the people. Saturday is the peak of activity and it was packed. I heard at least 10 different languages and saw people from every socio-economic and racial make-up. Every age group was even represented equally with kids in strollers eating goat's milk ice cream to elderly people with walkers forcing themselves into the front of the produce stands.
Featured in the market are vendors selling perishable items of all kinds and prepared food and drinks. On top of all that, the market is surrounded by permanent restaurants, shops, and cafes such as Monmouth Coffee (with a line around the block), Neals Yard Dairy, Tapas Brindisa, Black and Blue, and many, many others.
As for now, I am signing up while including pictures.....as the title says, I will come back and update. So, stay tuned.

Oh yeah, so I found this interesting shop with all sorts of beef options:
Various Butchers including The Ginger Pig - I am going to take a class on butchering a hog with them.
My newest craving - Irish & English cider.
Are there any street musicians in the market area?
